HSEQ Professional has been awarded level 4 of the Safety Culture Ladder 2.0 certificate (SCL). The certificate represents a shared success for the entire team, as it confirms our company-wide awareness of health and safety that is firmly anchored in our corporate culture. This makes HSEQ Professional the first company in the consulting and occupational safety sector to achieve level 4 of SCL 2.0. We are very proud of this joint success!
The SCL measures the safety culture and safety awareness of a company and categorises it into a total of five categories. The higher a company is categorised in the level system, the higher its safety and health awareness. NCI Certification not only visited us at our back office in Heinsberg for the audit and certification, but also carried out audits with our team at three of our projects across Germany. During the process, the Dutch certification company examined, among other things, the attitude and behaviour of our employees in dealing with unforeseen events. NCI also investigated how the HSEQ Professional teams integrate themselves into the projects, create an awareness of health and safety and incorporate it into the project teams at the Amprion A Nord, DolWin4 and BorWin4 construction sites as well as Tennet’s 2 GW Brake/Unterweser project.
The result: NCI Certification categorised us as ‘proactive’ and certified that all our employees create a culture of occupational health and safety and implement this awareness in their day-to-day work areas and processes. They pay close attention to unsafe situations and endeavour to prevent them in their everyday work and that of their colleagues. The successful categorisation is based on the core values of our company: trust, respect, communication and self-reflection.

We are delighted with the new certificate and are now striving to further optimise our corporate culture around the topics of safety and health and to communicate this in our day-to-day work. We already have our next goal firmly in sight: Step by step, we want to develop further within SCL level 4 and also achieve SCL level 5 in the next few years.
